Tutorial: Campaign Plotter
Introduction
To make it easier for our users (and ourselves) we have added the ability to track the effects of marketing and brand during specific campaign periods to easily discover what effect they are having during this time or months after.
Examples of when to use it:
Track campaigns ex. “Social media spring campaign”
Are you seeing an increase in positive interest in your brand during this period? (Competitiveness)
Are people mentioning your brand more as a result of creative marketing? (Share of Earned Media)
Track societal happenings ex. Covid-19 epidemic
Is there a decrease in interest for your brand relative to your competitors as a result of the ongoing societal shift? (Share of search)
A step by step guide to use the campaign plotter
Go to any line graph and click on the flag in the top right corner to enter the campaign plotter
Select the date-range and name for the campaign and then exit. You can enter as many as three campaigns at a time.
Now when you look at your selected graph you can see the campaign highlighted and labeled, in the top right corner you can select if you want to have the campaign view or not. If you click on the highlighted area you will enter so that you only see the data during that time-series.
To go back, simply click the graph again.
